Nécrologie de Mildred Vaive
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Milly Vaive on August 10, 2018. A wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and loyal friend to many. Born in Eastview (Vanier) on August 1, 1944. Daughter of the late Rodger Gascon and Beatrice Turpin. Loving wife of 54 years to Rolland (Tap) Vaive and cherished Mother to Rolland Jr (Mona Beach); and Ronald (Krista Dorion). Devoted grandmother to her four beautiful granddaughters whom she adored: Sarah and Sophie Beach-Vaive; Chloe and Ella Vaive. Predeceased by her brothers Billy; Tony (the late Catherine Coughlan) Robert (the late Lucille Villeneuve) and by her sister Patricia (Pierre Latremouille) Left to mourn are her two sisters Edna (Darryl MacKenzie); and Margaret Gascon (Conrad Longpre).
She was a loving sister-in-law to the Vaive family. She was a fun-loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and leaves behind a large group of friends and neighbors whom she enjoyed so much. We would like to thank the wonderful Doctors and Nurses on the 7th floor of the Ottawa General Hospital who took great care of Milly in her final hours. At the family request, the service is private.
For those wishing to remember Milly hug someone and do something fun that will make you smile, as that is how she enjoyed her life.
