Nécrologie de Steve Genge
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steve Neil Genge in his 60th year. Steve passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 19th while at home with his wife and children after battling cancer for the second time.
Steve was born in London, Ontario on December 4th, 1958 to his late parents Wilma (nee Dier) and Neil Genge.
Steve was a beloved husband and best friend to Denise (nee Durocher), and a loving and supportive father to Nick and Jonelle.
He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his in-laws, Lorraine (Ron) Beauchamp, Pierre (Lorraine Dugas) Durocher, and Jocelyne (Jacques) Taillefer and by all the nieces and nephews.
He will also be lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Center, the wonderful teams of home care from Carefor and the supportive Orleans Palliative Care Team.
All of us, family and friends, want to thank Steve for the good laughs, great memories and wonderful friendships. Steve, you will remain forever treasured in our hearts.
The family will share details on both a graveside service and a celebration of life at a later date.
