Nécrologie de Robert Marcel Villeneuve
It is with heavy hearts that our family announce the passing of Robert Marcel Villeneuve in his 69th year. Bob passed away peacefully on Friday, August 24th at the Ottawa General Hospital with his wife Debbie, his son Jeffrey, and his best friend Andre at his side.
Bob was born in Ottawa, Ontario on June 17, 1949 to Aimé Villeneuve (deceased) and Marie-Berthe Pilon (deceased).
Bob was a beloved husband to Debbie (Bigras), and a loving and supportive father to Jeffrey and best friend to Andre Bruneau.
Bob will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his sisters, Gisèle Pilon, Diane Pilon-Rooney and his brother Marc Pilon. Bob was predeceased by his brothers Roger and Adrian Villeneuve. Bob will also be lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to extend a heartwarming thank you to the caring Doctors, Nurses and Palliative Care team at the Ottawa General Hospital 5th Floor Oncology for their kindness and support.
All of us, family and friends, want to thank Bob for the laughs, great memories and wonderful friendships. Bob, you will remain forever treasured in our hearts.
Friends may pay respects at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd., Orléans on Thursday, September 20th, 2018 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. A celebration of life will follow in the Heritage Chapel at 11:00 a.m. A reception with family and friends will take place after the Celebration of Life. Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery will follow.
