James (Jimmy) Knowles

It’s time to say goodbye to a one of kind man. Known to us as Dad, Papa or Uncle Jimmy, he touched us all. His devilish spirit embraced us, his kindness inspired us and he always made us feel loved. Dad passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 25th, 2018 at the age of 85 years, surrounded by love - with close family at his side.

He finally gets his wish to be with the true love of his life - mom. Passing only days apart with 12 years between them, they finally get to be together again.

A kind father of Tammy (John) and Darren (Jenny), adored grandfather of Treena, Adam, Matthew, Daniel and Cindy, we love you. You were loved immensely as little brother of Audrey, Lois and Shirley alongside Gloria and Charlie. Bonnie will miss your treasured walks and Sobeys treats.

A celebration of life will held on Sunday, October 28th, 2018 with a wake at 11:00am, followed by a service and reception, all at the Heritage Funeral Complex. Please feel welcome to join us, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, we welcome donations to the Shephard’s of Good Hope, Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital and the Canadian Cancer Society.
