Passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 23rd, 2019 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Jeannine (nee Bédard), with whom he just celebrated 60 years of marriage. Loving father of Johanne and Jacynthe. Cherished grandfather of Erin.
Chief Warrant Officer, Medical Corps in the Canadian Armed Forces for close to 35 years, his proudest moments were receiving the Order of St. John from Governor General Jules Léger and meeting the Queen Mother.
He loved being surrounded by family as well as friends and was always prepared to be ready for an army of people to entertain at the house. Even through his failing health, he was never one to complain. Whenever anyone asked him how he was doing, he would look up to them, smile and just say “perfect”.
The family will receive condolences on Monday, February 4th, 2019 as of 10 a.m. at Saint-Joseph Church, 2757 St-Joseph Blvd. Orléans, followed by Mass at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Huntington Society of Canada would be appreciated.
